About the Palmetto Grand Prix Race Patch Program

The purpose of the Race Patch Program is to increase participation in and enhance enjoyment of Grand Prix Races.   At the suggestion of runners, unique, embroidered patches are being designed for all Grand Prix Races that participate.   Since participation in the Race Patch Program is voluntary, not all races will offer patches.

For now, anyone who places on a race awards list will receive a race patch, either in lieu of or in addition to, at the Race Director's discretion, whatever is planned for awards.   It is hoped that in the future, sponsorship can be found to assist Race Directors with the cost of the patches so that everyone who finishes a Grand Prix Race will receive a patch.

If you would like to know if a race you plan to run is participating in the Race Patch Program you can: a) Check below for patches already given out or planned; or, b) Check the Running Schedule pages and look under the "Distance" column for the footnote indicating the race is a program participant.   Check back often as races and their patch images are being added frequently.
