 Time: 6:30 p.m. 1/4 & 1/2mile Youth Fun Run (non-competitive) 7:00 p.m. 5k(3.1 miles) Road Race 
Location: Behind Hand Middle School at the corner of Woodrow & Duncan Street
Course: The 5K(3.1miles) course is a flat, fast course that runs through Shandon Neighborhood, both starting and finishing at Hand Middle School.  YOUTH FUN RUN: Start and finish inside the  Hand Middle School softball fields. To ensure the safety of all participants, please adhere to the following: NO Dogs and NO wheeled vehicles. All walkers must stay on the sidewalk and obey all traffic signals

Packet Pick-Up & Expo Sale:  *Early Pick up & Expo Sale will take place on  July 29,30,31 and Aug 1, 2009, at Strictly Running, 736 Harden  Street, Columbia, SC, 29205, 803-799-IRUN, from 11:00 noon to 6:30pm.
    * On site registration will be available starting at 5:30 p.m.

Registration You have two options:
Online registration is available now through 8/1/09.
A print application is also available. To receive the early registration rate your application must be received by 7/18/09.
   Award Ceremony start at 8:00 p.m.
Age Groups:
5k RUN ONLY
   For both male and female in the 10 & under, 11-13, 14-16, 17-19 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39,40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64,65-69,70 & Over
   First male and female finishers in the Open($50.00), Masters($50.00) and Grand Masters($50.) Divisions.  Awards to first three males and females finishers in all age groups. (Overall winners not eligible for age-group awards.)
   Youth Fun Run. (no Age Groups)
   All runners will receive a ribbon.
Other:  
   Door Prizes and etc.
   Water stops and monitors along course.

  2. Straight on Elmwood Ave
  3. Right on Bull Street
  4. Left on Gervais Street
  5. Right on Harden Street
  6. Left on Wheat Steet
  7. 800 meters to Hand Middle School on the right.
From Greenville/Spartanburg, SC
  1. I-26 East to I-126(Columbia)
  2. Same as 2-7 above.
From Florence, SC
  1. I-20 West to I-277 South (Columbia)
  2. I-277 South becomes Bull Street
  3. Same as 4-7 above.
From Charlotte, NC
  1. I-77 South to I-277 South (Columbia)
  2. I-277 South becomes Bull Street
  3. Same as 4-7 above.
